I recently purchased some Airpods using priority on a £20 sale deal. The Airpods are great and they work well, very comfortable to use.
But I bought them on a click and collect, and on the pack the sender was Brightstar 20:20. When you recycle a device with Apple you send it to Brightstar. Can you tell me if I have purchased refurbished Airpods?

No they are definitely new although it would have been cheaper going direct to Brightstar, after all, O2 want their commission . But O2 use various sources for their accessories  so don't worry, they don't do used unless specifically stated.

Hi @Justabout This isn't O2 you are talking to and we'd have no idea what you bought, however, you can probably tell yourself by the packaging they came in as O2 refurbished products come in plain boxes.

If you got the correct retail packaging, I'd say safely that they were new items.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

Brightstar are a distributor and don’t sell direct to the consumer and in this instance o2 are using them to supply goods rather than stocking the product in their own warehouses or DHL’s
- Xperia 1V - o2 and Spusu
- Pixel 8 Pro - o2 and Vodafone UK

I was going to do this as well, through o2 Priority. Filled in the form as normal, but I couldn’t for the life of me find anywhere to put the priority code! And I’ve heard nothing good about o2’s delivery service and stocking system. (I already knew about the stocking system!) I gave up in the end and bought them directly from Apple. They arrive on the day specified in the despatched email with no problems and I think they great! No discount but no panicking either!
I work for O2 but my comments and opinions posted here are solely my own and do not reflect those of Telefonica.”
