Hi,

 

I just went on your O2 priority app and saw you had 4 Free Thorpe Park tickets. I waiited till the 0's second and click get now but they were already sold out. How is that posislbe in 1 second !!!! 

 

How many did you have? Only 8 !!!!

This is ridiculous, how can anyone get any?

Hi guys, 

 

Obviously these tickets are super popular offer and there are limited codes available each week. Its run on a first come, first served set up which means the codes tend to go extremely quickly. We are running the offer every Friday up until the end of Aug and you can try again next week. Also don’t forget you can still get 50% off attractions (for upto 4 people).

 

Just to give you a bit more detail around this offer please see the below points. 

 

 

  • There are 500 codes available each Friday (this is stated in the T&C’s)
  • If you have been successful you can’t get the offer the following weeks
  • You don’t need to use the Voucher code straight away this can be saved and used at a later date

Most of us on here do not bother with Priority as it's just a waste of time.

I too was waiting patiently for noon to arrive.... confused.com as all tickets sold out too!!! Rebooted phone thinking it may have been me!!!

How many tickets were available?

Very quickly the 50% off were highlighted as available!!!!

Thanks for your response and for giving the details of the offer.
As I said, I appreciate that it's a free offer & would be very popular.
We have tried for similar offers in the past on Priority & the same thing happens. It does make you question whether the offer is real or not!
Anyway we will try our luck again next Friday.

You need a plan...Have a few friends with their devices open on the correct page all ready to click buy now.. a few seconds before the countdown.

The problem is the minute Buy Now appears, the servers go into meltdown so it's worth a couple of you clicking on buy now with 1-2 seconds to go.

Also the offer is real as they publish a list of winners every month. Problem is we only hear about those who are disappointed. :upside_down:

Hi,

I have tried the O2 priority tickets and can't see them available, even though I tried it bang at 12.00 PM and from more than 1 device.

I dont believe it would be possible to book it for 2 reasons - 

1) At 12:00 noon it said 'low count' of seats available, but when i tried to avail it said 'cannot connect to priority'.

2) After 1 minute it said tickets are out of stock.

 

I am an IT engineer specializing in such web transaction based activities, and if O2 genuinely wants customers to have a chance to win the tickets, they'd be happy to let you know your status in a queue or at least allow you to join a queue for the tickets in the system.

 

Assuming that this is not just a marketing strategy and O2 do give out 500 tickets, right now the impression that the Application is giving feels like it cannot handle the load of visitors connecting to it at 12:00 pm.

 

We weigh our options when selecting phones, so whether its free tickets or half-priced tickets, I'd better have phone companies provide an offer if they can handle the user load.

 

From that perspective, truly disappointed!
