Hi @Ivy2013

Why does your number need reactivating?

Are you are PAYG and not used it for a while, or cut off due to non payment of bill?

Either way you need to contact O2. All numbers in this guide Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support

You would need to call customer services and ask them to start it up again.
There are several different numbers to call on the link below - you can use Skype to call the 0800 numbers as well.
https://community.o2.co.uk/t5/Other-Products-and-Services/Coronavirus-Covid-19-Community-Help-and-Su...

Please note, this is not customer services and we cannot access your account. Do not publish personal details (email, phone number, bank account).

Link to our guide on how to contact them can be found here

Just to add. This isn't O2, it's a community forum and we have no access to accounts.

Contact O2 in the guide above.

@Ivy2013

It appears that you had the same problem 7 years ago https://community.o2.co.uk/t5/Discussions-and-Feedback/emergency-calls-only-on-my-mobile/m-p/596802#...

If you don't make a chargeable call on an O2 PAYG mobile every 6 months and top up every 999 days, you will be disconnected.

Having credit is not enough to just keep your sim active.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)
