new address and half of old address on postal correspondence

I tried calling this morning with regards to my address being incorrect on information that I am receiving through the post, however for some reason the line was bad and then the lady on the phone hung up on me which I found quite rude.

Despite updating my address on multiple occasions (to the same one I currently live at and my new recent upgrade arrived here with the correct address on it) for some reason anything that I get set through the post from you guys has my current address on it along with half of my old address for some reason. When I check my account my current address is on there yet I’m still being sent things through the post with both addresses on (if that makes sense).

Does anyone have any ideas what could have caused this or any way that I can fix it please :)?

Clearly messed up on O2's sysytem somehow but customer service are the only ones who can correct it.

You need to contact O2.
All numbers are in this guide Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support
When you call, you will be asked for the reason you are calling.
Stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else
Press 5 for More Options
Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to someone.
You can also try saying "Upgrade" or "Fraud" to be connected to an advisor.
8.00am is the best time to call if you can.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

Thanks so much @MI5 for your quick reply!

I shall try again tomorrow to get in contact with someone, fingers crossed I get a better line this time. I just wanted to make sure that I had done everything on my end that I could and tried every other pathway :). I shall use your guidance to help me with the call!

You're welcome.

The only input you can have is in your MyO2.

If it is correct there, you need O2 to fix it in the back office.

I got a brochure this morning from O2 about their winter sale on tablets

The first line of my address was a previous address but the rest was correct

As the postcode was correct, it was delivered to me

All other correspondence such as my bills, My O2 etc are correct

The problem is the marketing dept seems to have had some kind of wet fart issue with their customer base programme

If you want it corrected you need to write to them

Telefonica UK Limited

Returns Management Department

PO Box 165525

Birmingham

B25 9GP

I personally won't be writing to them, nothing of interest to me ever comes from them

I doubt customer service can help
