3- is because you're still signed into iCloud on your old phone.
1 and 2 could be a fault.
Best to speak to apple who will run a diagnostic check on the phone.

Could be a similar issue with texts if your old phone was capable of RCS messaging.
Your phone number will be set in the message app and linked to Google cloud services.
