iPhone 12 mini taking photos

I’ve just got a new phone. I’m having problems with taking photos. It does g always ring when. Tapping the camera button.
I’ve taken screeen saver off but still have problems.

You have to make sure you tap in the centre of the button.

If the camera hasn't focused, it won't take a picture until it has. If in low light, make sure flash is on auto.
