Wifi Texting

Having enormous difficulty getting to "chat" to any one other than the Autobot who like s people but doesn't really help!

I ahve a Samsung Galaxy 10Note+5G.  Wifi calling is set up because the mobile coverage in my remote are is only spearse with 2G/3G.  Telepone call are coming through now, after a bit of a glitch on the O2 settings, however, Text messages are taking 24 to 36 hours to come through by which time the message is too late. 

How can I get this sorted?

You can't.

O2 don't support sms over wifi yet.

Is there any likelihood that they will?  Banks and other financial institutions are insisting on sending texts to verify your account, and my wife just had an issue when the texts didn't arrive for about 3 HOURS because the connection here is so bad.  She could't do what she needed to do.  Unfortunately O2 has the best signal even though it is barely a bar.

Ah well. No choice but to change provider after 13 years.

If they do eventually get round to sorting it I may return, but until then "so long and thanks for all the fish".
