Solved: WhatsApp Contact Icons

Most of my WhatsApp contacts show a small image next to their name, a few just have a grey circle with white outline. These people are in my regular Contacts list with an image. I have found articles describing how to put an image in WhatsApp/Profile Pictures but this does not seem to work for me, I believe it may apply to earlier versions of WhatsApp (I am using version 2.20.197.17)

Is there a method af applying an iocon to these contacts?

It should pick up the picture from your contact list but check 2 things.

1 - Make sure the image isn't too big.

2 - Check WhatsApp has permission to access camera, images and contacts.
