I've recently received a voicemail message from O2, saying that my voicemail is set to default, and I would have to enter a new 4-10 digit passcode to access it. I've never had any problem with my voicemail before, but can't access any new messages. Is this some sort of scam? Will I be safe if I did enter a new code?

@Tre63

If not accessed for more than 30 days your voicemail will reset and you will be required to set a new pin.

It's annoying and one of the reasons I have mine switched off.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)
