Upgrade help

If I wanted to upgrade my current phone (which still has outstanding payments on the device plan) - Is there an option to trade the phone back to o2 rather than pay off the remainder if the value is the same? 
Would want same airtime plan just with upgraded phone.

You must pay the outstanding costs at checkout when you upgrade.

You can then recycle the phone to recover the cost, or sell it elsewhere.

When you upgrade, you can't keep your exact same tariff as you must choose one offered with the device you are upgrading to.
