I have an old iphone that I keep as a spare and I was going to let my daughter use it for a few months as her current phone is faulty but cannot be replaced until the end of her contract later this year.

She is with EE and unfortunately when she puts her sim card in it says that the phone needs to be unlocked.

Can you please advise how we do this?  The phone is an Iphone 6 and used to be part of a company contract with O2.

Thank you in advance.

Claire

How to here Guide: Unlocking an O2 phone to use a different SIM card

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)
