Setting up Disney +

I got a new pay monthly sim for my son for Christmas. (Bought a phone separately online) I added the new SIM to my friends& family a/c & chose Disney + as his free extra. I’m trying to register the extra to his number on the ‘my O2’ app but it won’t let me. Does anyone know why? Is it because he’s under 18? I haven’t set up his new phone yet. Do I need to put the SIMo into that first? Please help.

Thank you for your swift replies @MI5 and @Anonymous. Really appreciate it. I managed to speak to someone on 202 and she fixed the problem. The extra hadn’t been allocated so I hadn’t received the email link. I then needed to set up an email a/c for my son & register the extra using that email address because I already have the Disney + extra on my SIM. It’s all sorted now. Thanks.

But there has been an issue with extras just lately.
