S20 ultra sim card swap

I've swapped my old sim card to a 5g sim card how long does it take to swap the number over? Carphone warehouse did the swap within 20 mins I've waited hours ?

Swaps are taking much longer nowadays and won't happen over the weekend.

If not swapped by Monday then call O2

Ive just upgraded to s20 ultra a sim card came with it do i have to change my current sim card with the new one because ive tried it and the sim card doesnt work

Yes it will. You will be able to get 4G and 5G @dez83

Hi @dez83 I your old sim was a 5G sim then it will be if it was a 4G sim then it wont be. For 5G you need a 5G sim, 5G phone and 5G tariff and of course 5G coverage for ti to work.
