Hi. I received a brand new S20 4G On Sunday 3rd. On Monday, I set it up and called O2 to migrate my number from my old Galaxy S9. Whilst doing this I had to recite a code sent by text message on my new phone so I know it did(before migration) receive texts.
I was advised that the process could take up to 24 hours before it was all done. By Tuesday morning everything looked to be ok. I could make and receive calls and send text messages.
However I cannot receive them.
I waited the 24 hours from migration time (chap on the phone said it was 21:40 on Mon 4th that it kicked off)
I have checked the message centre number (which has to be ok or I wouldnt be able to send them, which I can)
I have taken my sim out and given it a wipe more times than I care to count
I have restarted my device so often I am worried that I will wear it out.
Nothing works. I just cannot receive texts. This is coming at a very bad time for me as I use Microsoft Teams to work remotely and it periodically sends a text message verification for security and I cannot receive it. Therefore cannot use the app.
Please, can anyone help?
