Porting number issue

Recently moved to O2 from Virgin, received my transfer date after supplying my PAC code. Received 2 text on the day of transfer, then nothing. Now MY O2 shows my updated number, my phone's sim settings displays the temporary number that came with the new SIM! Why?
Can anyone help ?

@Kalasin Have you tried rebooting your phone? If that doesn't work, you'll have to speak to customer service in the morning. 202 from your mobile, or 0800 032 1402. Best time to call is 8 am.

Edit: If you have an iPhone, go to Settings >Phone >My Number. Enter your number and save it.

Settings >Phone >My Number.  

Edit, save and reboot.

Your number has ported ok but you need to update the phone manually.
