Hoping someone can help, I have just joined O2 from EE my number was ported over today from EE and sim was disconnected. O2 sim is working and I can make calls & send texts which show as my transferred number. The number in my O2 account has also changed to the number I had with EE.
The problem is nobody can call me on the ported over number they are getting a message saying it’s an invalid number & also I am not receiving texts or WhatsApp’s.
I use this number for work so really need to be able to receive calls!
I’ve switched it off & on about 20 times but still no joy!

Morning, thanks for the tag @MI5 smiling

Usually with a port issue our MNP team needs to get in touch with customers old providers, so we could be waiting on a reply from them which may take a little longer.

I do apologise @Liz12, I'll message you privately and check over your notes, we'll get this sorted for you smiling

My working hours are Monday - Thursday 08:00 - 18:00
Any messages sent outside these time will be responded to on my return.
Thanks slight_smile

It can take up to 24 hours for everything to be fully working.

Still not working! Still not receiving calls comes up as number not recognised. I am a critical worker and need to be able to receive incoming calls and texts for authorisation purposes.
Tried phoning o2 customer services on 202 but after waiting in ques I get cut off. Not the best start with o2 for me, beginning to wish I hadn’t moved over 😐
