You can use your old sim card or get a new one in any O2 store.

Hi I’ve ordered a phone that’s out of stock can I cancel that phone and order another phone instead or do I have to wait for the first one to come

Yes you can, but you will need to call Customer Services on 0344 809 0202 and they will cancel the order for you.
Current Phone: Motorola Razr 5g
I also have a Planet Computers Gemini

I work in IT as an Enterprise Messaging and Collaboration Tools Administrator (Office 365, Slack and much much more) and manage hardware both Mobile and Desktop / laptop, my desk is a bit like PC World

You may have to wait for stock and delivery then return uner the change of mind policy.

You may be able to reorder another device in the meantime but as O2 do not run a live stock system, there is no guarantee that any other phone would be in stock either.
