We have had no service from O2 for the last 4 days. I signed up to receive updates on the problem from O2 but the last one I received promised to update me further only by 09 October. This is simply an unacceptable absence of service for which I am paying. When is this going to be fixed.

O2 never give timescales for mast repairs. Too many contributing factors ie Availability of parts , access to land etc etc. Rest assured they are doing the best they can as it doesn't suit them at all to have mast outages,
Have you downloaded the My Network app? You can report via that and get updates
