If the phone plan is paid off but there is still years to go on the airtime plan can you just get a PAC, join another provider and no longer have to pay airtime? Thank you

Thank you. I thought there would be some termination fee. So I can pay for the phone after a couple of months and ignore the 2 1/2 years remaining on the airtime plan. Excellent.

Yes, that's the benefit of refresh. 

Once the device is paid for, you are free to upgrade or leave without further charges.
