So I changed mine and my wife's monthly SIM plan Wed last week. Worked OK but no visual voicemail. Managed to get through Thu and they added the bolt on. My wife's now works fine.

For me, I have no signal, can't call out, and anyone phoning me gets "number not recognised". O2 staff trying to dial it get number engaged! Interestingly WhatsApp still works....

After several attempts I got through to customer service on Thursday using my landline. Can't fix the fault so passing it on to technical who take 3-5 days. They will phone with updates and, to see if it helps, send a new SIM.

Friday there is a call on the landline from O2. Wife answers, line goes dead.

Today I phone from my landline and I get "We tried to phone you but couldn't get through. If we need to phone you we will call again" and then I immediately get cut off! Phone back and get the same...

So, no new SIM, my calls blocked, no updates or info from O2!

Help! slight_smile slight_smile

@gembrain

You need to contact O2.
All numbers are in this guide Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support
When you call, you will be asked for the reason you are calling.
Stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else
Press 5 for More Options
Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to someone.
You can also try saying "Upgrade" or "Fraud" to be connected to an advisor.
8.00am is the best time to call if you can.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

Well if I phone the 0344 number I don't get cut off!

Whether anyone at O2 will fix it is a different matter...
