I put my new O2 sim in my phone before texting swap to 20220 so now my phone is set up with the wrong number. I have put my old sim back and received a text saying they will move me to O2 at 6pm tomorrow. Will this be on my old number?

If you were moving from another provider you needed to use a PAC code, and not just follow the sim swap process.

If you needed to move from another company like Three or EE, follow this guide:

Guide: Migration & porting into O2

If you were already with o2 and just swapping from an old phone to a new one, then did you follow this guide (or similar instructions) @SallyR ?

@SallyR

We’re just customers like you but it sounds like you’ll need someone to access your account which can’t be done from here. If you message O2 on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they should be able to help you with this

Thanks

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)
