Why is there no Internet or signal for calls and messaging etc 04.10.21 been going on for an hour now??

Mobile Phone service is not guaranteed, as per your terms and conditions, and you don't pay any line rental you pay for airtime and data usage... 

 

I have no problems all day on any of my o2 numbers, personal and enterprise.

 

Check your local area coverage @ https://status.o2.co.uk  or by downloading the my o2 network

- Xperia 1V - o2 and Spusu
- Pixel 8 Pro - o2 and Vodafone UK

Have seen many messages about this today. Can someone please tell us when we will have this back as I have important phone calls scheduled for this evening. Not good enough when we pay so much line rental!!!

Facebook and all their associated servers are down currently.
It's a Facebook issue.
