I have moved to an area which has little or no cellular connectivity. When I spoke to Customer Services they were unable to help? The coverage checker also paints an unrealistic picture of reality. Can someone help in anyway, or do I just change network?

It is what it is I'm afraid.
Try PAYG sims from other networks first and move to the one with the best signal.
