I want to use my phone as a backup connection in case my house wifi goes down. When I try to connect it says this is a meter connection and then data does not transfer. Please could you help adjust this? Thanks

Windows /Mac is reporting it correctly and there is nothing o2 can do to stop this.  All data connections are metered aka you pay for it, and for some it becomes expensive.

Have a look for a bar that says connect in the app you are using.

- Xperia 1V - o2 and Spusu
- Pixel 8 Pro - o2 and Vodafone UK

@Lau1

You need to change it in the network connection settings on your PC.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)
