Hi, I’m looking to upgrade my phone but want to keep my SIM card

When you upgrade your new tariff is applied to your current sim card, so you just put it in your new phone, unless you want to use 5g, in which case O2 will send a new sim and you just do a sim swap Guide: Sim Swap: a mini guide 2017 update 

You must, however, take a new tariff when you upgrade.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)
