4G is the connection type @Linz-83.
On o2's version of pay as you go, you buy a bundle which gives you 1 month of minutes, text and data. Anything not used at the end of the month has gone and you need to buy another bundle.
You say that you topped up last month which makes me think that you bought the bundle in November and now you need to buy another.
