I signed up with o2 yesterday and the guy in the shop said my number would have transferred by the time I awoke this morning. It’s now 20:54 and not transferred. Why would this be?

Hi I remember when I transferred my number across to a new SIM card. There was a wait of a few days.  I would give it 48 hours. Give it till Thursday and if it still hasn't transferred over by Thursday morning I would ring 02 Customer Services and find out.
