Solved: Just got a 2nd sim will it cancel my one?

Just got a 2nd sim for my daughter to put into a hand me down phone. When I pop it in will it affect my contract? Probably a stupid question but I'm nervous about activating her sim in case I lose mine and am not very technically minded. Thank you

As long as it was a new additional contract and not an upgrade, you'll be fine.
