I am in Spain with a monthly SIM I-phone 11. I have O2 travel as a Bolt-on but am
unable to access data or get anything other than 3G except when in Wi-Fi.
i had the same problem in Germany last month- after that visited O2 shop where assistant said my O2 travel was not active- she changed it- it now shows as active but there is no change in result!
any suggestions gratefully received,

Ensure 5G is not enabled on the phone so step down to 4G/3G
Also network you connect to whilst roaming is the one the roaming partner at the time lets you connect to. So also try selecting a different network.
