Can't hear voice calls on Moto G9

Hi, my wife has purchased a MotoG9 for my birthday everything seems fine apart from when I make a voice call after about 10 seconds the person at I am ringing can't hear me. I have made about 10 calls and it happens every time. My son has shown me how to make calls over the internet in case we are without our landline as we are both self isolating at the moment. Any help would be greatfully received.

First ting to try would e a new sim.

You need to contact O2.
All numbers are in this guide Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support 
When you call, you will be asked for the reason you are calling.
Stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else
Press 5 for More Options
Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to someone.
You can also try saying "Upgrade" or "Fraud" to be connected to an advisor.
8.00am is the best time to call if you can.
