Solved: Broken iphone 7

My daughter's iphone 7 will not switch on. It just shows a complete blank black screen. We have tried pressing the down volume switch and the on/off switch at the same time, but no luck. She really needs this phone for remote learning at school. Please help.

Have you tried a different charger?
