My son his phone on holiday..

I called o2 and the phone blocked and a new sim card sent out.

The owners of the cottage we were staying at then found the phone and have kindly sent it to us but it is blocked.

How do I unblock it so my son can use it again please?

It all depends on if an insurance claim was made to replace the phone.

- If an insurance claim was made then the phone no longer belongs to your son and is now owned by the insurance company so can't be unblocked.

- If no insurance claim was made then you need to call o2 on 0344 809 0202 and ask them to remove the phone from the black lists, this can take upto 48 hours to complete. You will need the account holder to do this.

- Xperia 1V - o2 and Spusu
- Pixel 8 Pro - o2 and Vodafone UK
