Bill higher than expected

I have just received my daughters first bill for her iPhone11 with a tariff of £33pm month and a spend cap to stop her going crazy and racking up a stupid amount on a bill at the end of the month but I am being charged nearly £55 for the first bill and she was able to send premium text/mms and go over the spend cap how is this possible??

Hi @Neilm32 

You need to call O2 and ask them as we have no access to accounts here

When you call, ask them to put a bar to charge to mobile and bar all direct to bill debits

Also a bar  to premium numbers.

You'll need to call customer service.
Numbers here Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support 
When it comes to the reason you are calling stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else
Press 5 for More Options
Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to someone.
Say "Upgrade", "Lost/Stolen" or "Fraud" if you have to, to get put through to someone.
8.00am is the best time to call if you can.
