I have iPhone 13 Pro on order, went to O2 shop to order 5G sim card. As it has backwards compatibility to 4G. guy swapped the new sim card with 5G bolt on. I use to get data down load around 3MB, with new sim card it dropped to average of 4MB. Customer service said all settings fine and no network issues in the area.

Appreciate if anyone has any suggestions, as there is no 5G coverage in my are. Thanks

@Kash12 A 5G bolt on in a phone that isn't compatible and not in a 5G area is useless. When you get your new phone you'll be ready, but at the moment you're paying for a bolt on that you can't use.

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2

@Kash12

Your speeds are fine from what you say but will vary at different times of the day.

As 5g is provided at no extra cost, you're not losing out on anything.

Enjoy your new phone when you get it.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
