O2 is the only major network that lets you roam freely in the EU, up to 25GB . Your mobile plan works just like it does at home.

If your UK monthly data allowance is over 25GB, you’ll have a Roaming Limit of 25GB when roaming in our Europe Zone. This means you can use up to 25GB of your allowance at no extra cost. We’ll text you if you’re getting close to the limit, and again if you reach it. You can still use data if you reach our Roaming Limit, but you’ll be charged

With our custom plans, you can choose how much to pay upfront, and spread the cost of your monthly bill.

Impressive list of benefits! However, I am extremely surprised to see O2 WiFi and WiFi Extra in there, given VM is retiring their out-of-home WiFi, or so their letter to me about my RPI increase next month says:

@Martin-O2 can we get a tag for this so it can be referenced any time someone is asking why O2 rarely price-match the resellers and, for example, uSwitch? Something like #ben would be great!

Oh, and what about Switch Up, that may cost a bit more, but is another plus of O2 for the techies and those who desire the latest phone every 6 months!
