How to close account?

The story is that they pushed me to move from pay as you go to pay monthly, damaged my number, I have been unable to use the phone for more than a month (unable to get calls and texts), and now I am unable to close an account, keep calling them, waiting two hours, then they end the call...

Any idea where I have to call to sort it? Are there any complaints/consumer rights numbers?

Beware Complaints are taking 8 weeks at the moment and nobody at Customer Services will help you while it is pending

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

I tired to fight with them, maybe is there any company who sorting those things, like consumer rights?
