I am having difficulty porting my number to o2

 

despite filling in the online form correctly i have had 5 failed attempts with an automated email saying i failed the security questions

 

is there a number i can call to set this process going?

You need to use the security word you set up with your MyO2, not your password.

You can reset this in your details in your My O2.

If you need to call,

Numbers here Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support although now closed for today.
Or advice from an O2 Guru regarding a way to get through:
If you call 202, when it comes to the reason you are calling stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else
Press 5 for More Options
Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to someone.
Say "Upgrade", "Lost/Stolen" or "Fraud" if you have to, to get put through to someone.
8.00am is the best time to call if you can.

@djandywatts Whatever made you think that trying to port your number on Christmas Day was a good idea? Also be aware that ports do not happen on the weekends, whether there's a holiday or not. The earliest your number would port now is Tuesday.

@djandywatts I never said you were dumb. Trying to do anything like that over any network during the holiday period just isn't a good idea. Happy Christmas to you too. I hope you're able to get your port sorted next week.

i know yea... didnt intend to seem as tho id taken offence its very good of you to reply on christmas  day.  living alone i just find myself filling the time to past this day away.
