Hello
I am upgrading my IPhone - just bought an IPhone 15.
I followed your instructions and ordered an eSim. However, your system did not send me anything - no message, no email etc with the necessary QR code to install the eSim on my new phone.
I phoned your customer helpline on Tuesday evening and the representative looked at my situation and promised that I would get an email with the QR within 24 hours. Nothing has arrived.

Yes @T-squared
O2 and esims don't seem to work very well. Not like other networks.... from what we read on here.

Have a look at my experience when I came to change handsets

Ah, yes! Read the thoughts in the 'Community'
Now I can see why my attempts at my getting an e-sim out of O2 has been (ahem) difficult.
Annoying as I've just replaced my phone and in spite of it being advertised as dual sim, it seems I have been sent the model with a single sim slot and an SD card one plus the option of an e sim.
Most of my family live in Thailand and I travel there a lot so having 2 sims is a must when I'm there.
So, many thanks for pointing out the pit-falls of O2's issue with e-sims.
i'll hang on to the physical simm and get my self a Thai e-sim; by all accounts they work very well there.
Again, thnks for the tip-off.

Most eSIMs work OK.
I've one on Vodafone, no issues when I came to swap handsets.
It's just O2 who seem to struggle with newer technology. Apple watches are another area where they have problems,

What 'phone have you got @T-squared ?
My Samsung Galaxy A54 is either dual-SIM or SIM plus eSIM plus SD card.

Hi, new phone's a Sony Xperia 10VI.
I dislike carrying a brick around with most of it sticking out of the top of my pocket (ready for someone to nick), so any screen above 6.1 inches is a no-no..... hence the Xperia with a 6.1 inch screen.
Cheers,
TonyT

I have never gone down the Sony mobile 'phone route @T-squared. But I fully see your thinking about the risk of theft with bigger models.
I don't have a problem with handsets sticking out of my pocket ; just keep them in my handbag ! 👍

Ah, a handbag is one item I don’t possess.
As to the Sony, I’ve never had an Xperia before, but my old phone was getting ever slower on Android 9 so it had to go.
There’s not a lot of choice on the market for smaller screens and the Xperia got fair reviews. The 6.5 inch plus one’s are not for me.
Adjusting the number of rings before voicemail now sorted thanks to the knowledgeable ones on this Community.

The XPeria is a good choice and will serve you well @T-squared
