Hello
I am upgrading my IPhone - just bought an IPhone 15.
I followed your instructions and ordered an eSim. However, your system did not send me anything - no message, no email etc with the necessary QR code to install the eSim on my new phone.
I phoned your customer helpline on Tuesday evening and the representative looked at my situation and promised that I would get an email with the QR within 24 hours. Nothing has arrived.

Annoyingly, I called O2 to get the sim swapped to eSim, they've deactivated my plastic SIM and as a result I have no QR code emailed, AND can't even get past MFA to get into my MF Account...

I'm at a loss why people think esims are the way forward these days
Not a chance would I entertain one, certainly not with O2

eSIMs are OK for a secondary account if your phone only has one SIM slot but not for the main account with O2's implementation.
And always have another number registered in my O2!

I haven't got one and after reading all the issues they cause, I would never have one.
I'll stick to plastic thanks. 🙄

What issues?
Most of what I've read about them are very positive.

Clearly you've not been reading the experience of trying to upgrade phone or move to an e-sim on this site, @T-squared - this should give you a taster:
