Someone from O2 sent me an upgrade without my consent! Someone from O2 said they will collect it from me and I got suspicious. They asked me to post to their address when I said I’m not home.

I spent hours on the phone to 202 trying to report it, but no one is interested!!! Very disgusted!

@Danni8

It's a well known scam and is certainly not O2 employees.

All networks are getting this.

You should report it to O2 and it will be escalated to their fraud dept.

If you message O2 on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they should be able to help you with this

Thanks

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

Thank you for your reply. It really hard not to believe it’s O2employees. Who else can order and dispatch an &1530 phone to my bill??? I have tried to report this fraud to 202 (O2 Customer service) but no one is interested! After all those waiting and hoping to resolve this are time wasted! Even if it’s not O2, this ‘bystanders’ behaviour cannot be a company that’s trustworthy! Any solutions welcome.

If someone gains access to your account, it's easily done.

I assume you have changed your password and memorable word etc.....?
