Volt applied to VM not O2 account

Hi 

I hope someone can help and point me in the correct direction. I have joined O2 in November, I have been told that my VM account has been Voted (although I was already on the 1gig connection) But O2 have told me I am not eligible and to submit the form again?

Is this correct? I'm looking to travel soon and could really use the double date while in the UK and the O2 travel while abroad.

Has anyone had a similar issue and had it resolved?
