Update billing details

I have tried to change my payment/billing information via the MyO2 site and app.
After entering the new account number and sort code and clicking save the next page shows an error message saying
'Sorry, there was an error updating your payment details. Please try again later.'
It's been doing this for weeks. Is there something I'm missing?
Do I need to phone O2 to update these details? If so, what is the number?

Change your web browser to IE or try through the app @LeeMarcelle 

Other than that you will have to try to get through on the phone
