My account was set up for the benefit of my son.  Now that he is of age, I wish to now transfer the account to my son.

If a Pay Monthly account, your son will need to apply, at the time of the next renewal, for his own mobile number - once this is issued, the number he has been using, paid for by you, can be migrated to the new contract - Guide: Migration & porting into O2   Guide: Upgrading Your O2 Phone

If a PAYG, just pass the phone and number to your son, and show him how to pay his top-up every month Guide How to Top Up (PAYG)

Hope this makes sense, @Paperhouse - if you need to talk to O2 to review the options, all contact numbers and social media links in here: Guide: How to find help & contact O2

Good luck!

@Paperhouse This is not O2. This is a customer community.

If you want transfer the account into your son's name he will have to pass a credit check.
