Someone using my old phone but receiving my current text messages?

My mum in law is using my old iphone 5 with a new number for last few months on a differnet network. But she has started recieving my current text messages on her phone why is this happening and how???

@SusanRose That sounds very strange. Are you receiving the texts as well?

Tell her to check in Settings >Phone >My Number, and that her correct number is showing in there. If it isn't, she can change it to her current number.

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2

Your Apple ID is still logged in on your old phone. 

You need to sign out and remove it.
