I was sent a new SIM card for my new phone. Will it need to be registered or will it just transfer over?

If your old sim fits just use that. However, if you want 5G you need to do a sim swap.

If you need to use new sim, you do a sim swap Guide: Sim Swap: a mini guide 2017 update

Otherwise, just use your old sim still.

If the new phone takes the same size sim card, the just use your current one.

And keep the new one as a spare.

If its a different size then you need to do a simswap, full instructions are on the sim packaging
- Xperia 1V - o2 and Spusu
- Pixel 8 Pro - o2 and Vodafone UK
