Call me skeptical but ever since O2 partnered with Virgin Media my signal is woeful. Whether it's trying to make a phone call or browse the Internet on the move it's painstakingly slow to do just about anything. I've done sim swaps and all that - 5G one as my phone is geared up to it but I still have this recurring problem.  Before the merger it was fine and the 5G was lightening fast.

Did Ofcom tell O2 to offload masts as part of the deal with VM ?

@Batman

There's no connection at all but O2's network is oversubscribed in many areas and is dreadful in others.

Try using 4g and you may find it quicker now that more people are using 5g.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Hi, thanks for the response.

I do use 4g most of the time. There's little coverage of 5g where I live.  Never occurred the network was oversubscribed.

Cheers
