I received the following text on Sunday

Elizabeth get back on Facebook by clicking https/fb/me/1Fj1EOz1KoyAnwR

From 37066349684

Not thinking I replied who is this?

I received a text from 02 telling me I had sent a text to an overseas number for the first time

Should I be worried about this?

@Ejw

You will be charged for texting that number and is a scam to get money out of you.

They are getting bolder, and trying to be clever..

I'd love to know where the links in the SMS Point to, as they are hiding the real address under the vanity URL linking.

We have noticed an increase not just in SMSishing but also Phishing attempts with regards to Covid-19

Thanks for reporting this one @Ejw and to everyone else on the thread for the great advice. I'll escalate this one internally as it's a new one that I've not seen before.
