Hi,

My contract with o2 is ending soon and today i received two calls in the space of half an hour from 03448260202 and 08009524854. They both called to offer me new deals but the lady who called on the second number knew alot about my data uasge etc and tried to offer me deals accoriding to that. Are these numbers scam calls? I get alot of these calls but never this often on the same day!

I was slightly concered my account had been hacked before as I once clicked a fake link in a scam text from o2 so hope this is not the result!

Thanks for reading, I will appriciate any replies!

Always call O2 yourself and speak to upgrades on 202.

NEVER accept anything from any cold call, ever.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Upgrade by calling or do it online through My O2

Never ever believe anything on a cold call or you could end up in trouble

Thanks for your replies.
I haven't accepted anything from them they were just offering lots of deals.
Were these real o2 calls? They knew all of my details and usage etc.
should I be worried?

No don't be worried

It could be a third party retailer on the O2 'trusted' partner list

O2 share your details with these partners

You would get an O2 deal but just beware

The only thing guaranteed is that they will benefit from it more than you, if you accepted it.
