Hello
Im planning to visit Iran, wondering if my O2 number would be work there? I just need to make sure that I will receive texts. I’m on Monthly contract. Last time (2019) when I was there, I had no coverage at all. Would appreciate if anyone can advise if O2 has roaming contract with Iran?

Yes it will work on a monthly contract, but not PAYG.

I’m on monthly contract but when I was there last time, I had no signal, the Iranian network didn’t recognise, wondering if sanctions on Iran might prevent roaming for O2?!
