I am leaving EE and going on an O2 sim only contract. I am looking to retain my same mobile number. I have just put the new sim in the phone. How long do I have to wait before my old mobile number goes live on my phone ?

When did you give the PAC code from EE to O2?

Technically should take no longer than 2 working days but nothing happens on weekends

considering o2 are a communication company i have had a poor experience getting a sim account  and clarity with keeping my old number  its been a joke and stressful for the past 4 weeks.
